This head support pad is a flat pad that will act as a continuation of the solid back it is mounted to. This accessory is usually added to a seating system when the client will be transported on a school bus/ ambullette/ van etc... It will serve to protect the head and neck in the event of a sudden stop. A headrest hardware option needs to be ordered with this accessory in order for it to be mounted to the back support ( If this accessory will be utilized during transportation only, the removable extension bracket will be the most cost effective choice )
